I'm five-eleven. I never apologize for my height, I enjoy being tall and I love to wear high heels.
I'm a bit of a klutz, and could probably find something to trip over in a totally empty room.
I love words, ideas, and language. I email, but I also write letters.
I like all kinds of music, classic films, classic literature, thrift stores, flea markets, interesting junk, and old-fashioned stuff.
I'm independent, but I like it when a gentleman opens the door for me.
I grew up in the Northeast, and love to be outdoors, but I'm not a winter person. I'm always dreaming of blue skies, warmer climates, and exotic destinations.
I love travel, exploring new places, 24-hour diners, and fine restaurants.
I also like Pop Tarts, Yodels, and grilled cheese sandwiches, and look forward to the first cup of coffee in the morning.
My three passions are: acting, writing, and design--anything to do with jewelry design, interior design, and graphic and web design.
Diane Keaton is a huge role model for me; she acts, directs, and produces. She is always creating something. Also, Katharine Hepburn, who said "Don't give in! Make your own trail."
In an earlier phase of my life, I studied finance and worked in commercial banking. In this phase, I'm making my own trail, by acting, writing, and living a creative life.
I'm currently writing a solo show for myself, about the novelist Jane Austen, and (finally!) finishing my first play, inspired by Kate Chopin's novella "The Awakening."
Animal rescue (www.animalkind.info) and ovarian cancer awareness (www.ovarian.org and www.ocrf.org) are very important to me. A goal of mine is to produce my own theatrical projects, as fundraisers for these causes.
