The FUTURE is BACK
“XSM†Jumps to the Next Level with New TV/Internet Show featuring Enhanced Format Emphasizing Daily, Comprehensive Coverage of the Reggaeton & Latin Entertainment Industries.
Tue. Jan 1st, 2008
NEW YORK, January 1st, 2008 – First came the next-generation consoles. Then, the next-generation games. Now, audiences have a next-generation TV series. “XSMâ€, 2007's Best Selling Reggaeton oriented Magazine, returns to the scene and will unveil an all-new and expanded format in 2008 in the form of a TV/Internet Show that adds breaking news, LIVE appearances from the biggest artists in Latin America, videos, interviews and a segment dedicated to the discovery of new and emerging talents. Simply titled "THE SHOW", XSM makes it's long awaited return debuting a New Logo and New Personalities.
XSM (X Society Magazine) went on a 4 month hiatus as of August 2007 as management restructuring took place. Former President and Head of Development - Richard Ashcroft, who was primarily the driving force behind the publication with over 10 years experience within the realm of Reggaeton and Latin Music, kindly parted ways with XSM to focus on other endeavors. Replacing him as of press time is Brad Siegel who had been Senior Vice President of Programming for Fuse TV from 2002-2006 and who was the brain behind creating XSM - THE SHOW.
"Over the past few years, the entertainment industry has changed drastically" said Brad Siegel, president, of XSM. “The Internet has become the most sought after platform for everything ranging from news to videos to music and even games. With the future seemingly revolving around cyber space, bringing XSM-THE SHOW to life in the form of an Internet/TV Show is an ideal move as it presents our product to our audience free of charge. Why pay for a magazine when you can get all the news and interviews for FREE online, on our show, and most importantly, you'll get to see the artists who appear on our show LIVE and in Person."
Currently in production, "THE SHOW" will debut in mid March, sponsored by Fuse TV. XSM is looking to create a big bang with it's show and therefore promises to include material and concepts never before featured on TV Shows. So if you're looking for content similar to MTV's "TRL" or BET's "106 and Park", XSM's THE SHOW will certainly NOT be the show to expect imitation from.
Already confirmed for the debut of "THE SHOW" is an opening entrance theme song, performed by Reggaeton super duo - Jowell y Randy - crafted specifically for the program. The theme song was produced by super producers DJ Giann, Dexter and Mista Greenz of Live Music.
The first ever guest on THE SHOW will be a Heavy Weight and a Huge name amongst the Reggaeton genre, whose name will not be disclosed until several weeks before the debut of the program.
In addition THE SHOW will also feature
• A segment devoted to exposing new talents(Rappers, Singers, Bands, Models, DJ's etc)
• Fan Interaction, where we'll have one lucky fan selected each week to come down to our Studios and ask TWO of their most desired questions to the Stars currently in our Studios.
• A Video Game Section.
• Plus Much More
The “XSM†Web site will undergo significant updates as well and will re launch just in time for the debut of THE SHOW. The "XSM" Web site will keep you posted on all the happenings before, during and after THE SHOW has aired. 2008 will certainly be a promising year for Brad Siegel and XSM.
