Thomas Williams started his love of playing music at the tender age of eighteen months when his mom gave him pots and pans to beat, which develop an interest in percussion instruments. Although started as a drummer Thomas true love was for the piano. He helped develop an ear for music by studying his Jazz teacher along with listening to the radio and would later go home and practice it on his keyboard. Without any formal training or schooling Thomas learned the skill of playing the keyboard, with this knowledge of playing by ear he auditioned for the Peabody Institute at the young age of nine and was accepted into the program. He later went on to major in music at Morgan State University. Thomas has a gift of music and is dedicated to worship; he currently serves as the Minister of Music at Mt. Olive Holy Evangelistic Church in Baltimore Maryland.Thomas has a rich history of music background in his family, taught many principals and values of music by his grandfather, helped pave the way for Thomas’s growth in music today. Thomas has well over ten years of musical experience. He has accompanied artist such as Twinkie Clark, Latrice Pace, LaCresha Campbell, Kirk Franklin, Smokey Norfolk, Marvin Sapp, Natalie Wilson and S.O.P, Jonathan Nelson and Purpose and Byron Cage. Thomas has also performed main stage for major venues in his hometown of Baltimore such as Artscape and AFRAM.His current endeavor is to walk in the calling God has place on his life. Thomas has dreamed of reaching the world through his love of music. Through this dream he founded RawTom Distributions, LLC which is a music service and entertainment company. The mission of the company is to bring joy and meaning to music through creativity, experience, and guidance. Believing his calling is to worship through music Thomas recently recorded and released his worship single in 2009.Thomas’s vision is for a worldwide harvest.
