My Interests

I'd like to meet:

"Knowledge comes, but wisdom lingers."
- Lord Tennyson

One thing you might want to keep in mind before we dive into the interesting stuff is that I have linked all the pictures on this page to their official websites. If you see a movie, writer, actor or musician that you want to know more about, just click their picture! I like to give credit where credit is due.Interesting Little Tidbits: My name is Jessi Muse Duncan and welcome to my page. Now I am sure you are intruiged by my style and are now asking yourself..."who is this chick?" Well, I am more then happy to elaborate given that apparently I have more then plenty of time on my hands then is needed. So I guess it is more appropriate to say..."Welcome to my world".

A little bit about me
I am 24 years old and happily married to the love of my life and high school sweetheart, Tim. We live a pretty content life just outside of Nashville in Murfreesboro, TN with our two dogs (Nike the Timid and Sebastian the Brave) as well as our wonderful cat, Oliver the Great. We just bought our very first house and could not be happier. (check out my pictures to see our new homestead)
I started out January 2006 as a mere sales associate at Salt and Pepper Christian Stores in Murfreesboro. Then I moved to what I thought was a much better job in Nashville as a publicist in the music industry. It was exciting but ultimately not for me. I have recently acquire the dream job I never knew I wanted at Ingram Book Company in Lavergn as a Sales Representative. Now I am like a kid in a candy store being that my first love in life (outside of my very desirable husband) are books.

I am a private person at heart
I value loyalty above all else
My best friends are the ones who show up
Life is what you make it
I prefer cats
But love the dogs I have
I feel truly blessed
Everyday of my life
Cotton commercials can make be cry
which makes be dread getting pregnant
I believe less is more
& too much of a good thing can grow stale
I am grateful school is over
But miss the summer breaks
Lung cancer killed my grandmother
So now I am an Anti-Smoker
Nostalgia is my greatest enemy
though sometimes I feel like it's myself
I like my occasional drink
But am not a party girl
I love my tattoos
& plan on getting more
I've done some stupid things in my life
Though try not to regret
I was brought up a Preacher's kid
But talk to me before you judge
My heart has proven too much at times
and too little at others
I don't like to "talk" about disagreements
but would rather be left alone
I do not hold grudges
or at least that is what I tell myself
I miss my past
But look forward to what is to come
and I love my husband with all that I am

Things that Perk My Interest
I love to write and draw. I really love to read. I also have been playing the piano since I was five but have not had a whole lot of opportunity to play since we moved into our house. I love spending time with my husband and my wonderful cat, Oliver on the weekends. I love Sushi, rainy days, and the color purple. Usually you can find me killing brain cells in front of MTV or VH1 but I spend most of my time, like I mentioned before, reading. I really love ghost stories. For some reason I am really fascinated by the supernatural and life after death. I am a strong Christian and an avid anti-smoker. I love going to dinner with friends, checking out winery's and cuddling with my husband.
