My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends--
It gives a lovely light!

"Science fiction is an existential metaphor. It allows us to tell stories about the human condition. Isaac Asimov once said: 'Individual science fiction stories may seem as trivial as ever to the blinder critics and philosophers of today, but the core of science fiction, its essence, has become crucial to our salvation, if we are to be saved at all.'"

What New Battlestar Galactica character are you?
created with QuizFarm.com
You scored as Lt. Kara Thrace (Starbuck)
You are the best damn Viper pilot in the fleet, so everyone else can just frack off. They need you, not the other way around. Maybe if you keep pushing people away they won't get close, because that is scary and it hurts. Oh yes, and anyone who has a problem with you being a woman needs to just get over it.

I talk a lot, I ramble a lot, I rant a lot and often these rants are over inconsequential matters. The good news is that I am occasionally told that the verbal banter constantly spewing from my mouth is somewhat witty and mildly amusing. If you have a problem with any of these things, you probably don't want to know me. The upside to my constant chatter is that I do not neglect listening if I deem it worth the effort.
I think that exclamation points should only be in odd numbers, I tend to use one or three on the end of a sentence depending on my personal level of excitement. I collect toys that are miniature, I like the way things look when recreated to a smaller scale, it's novel to me. I like to think deeply on things and ponder them, and then play in a moonwalk to shake off the drag, if that makes sense. Too much serious can kill you. I think more people need to learn that being "immature" is okay and can be good for the soul. Even Angel doesn't brood all the time.
Three of the four elements are shared by all creatures, but fire was a gift to humans alone. Smoking cigarettes is as intimate as we can become with fire without immediate excruciation. Every smoker is an embodiment of Prometheus, stealing fire from the gods and bringing it on back home. We smoke to capture the power of the sun, to pacify Hell, to identify with the primordial spark, to feed on the marrow of the volcano. It's not the tobacco we're after but the fire. When we smoke, we are performing a version of the fire dance, a ritual as ancient as lightning.
I am a smoker. I love smoking and I smoke a lot, so if you have a problem with that, fuck off.
I hate: Hypocrites, people who throw vicious and silly little temper-tantrums, drama queens, idiots, words that are spelled incorrectly by idiots OR words that just look odd and incorrect in the first place, people who annoy me, people who try too hard to act like they are so fucking deep by exuding all of their idiocy onto the world in the form of "oh-so-tortured" song/poetry/other horrid writing when they can't even use a thesaurus so as not to infinitely repeat themselves. Fuck off if any of these things, as well.
I love: Staying up late and sleeping all day, discussions of (personal) philosophy (serious or otherwise), being silly and immature, intelligence and learning for their own sake, and toys.
This is what I look like from the side with a mohawk kissing Gizmo before midnight with my wife, before our nuptuals, when viewed through a camera phone (we are 2 of the hottest girls ever, by the way).
Oh, and 'fuck' is my favorite word.
I am just me. I love to read. I love cartoons. I am a miniskirt feminist clad in waitress' clothing. I like to dress up like a zombie, just for fun (I make a mad hot living dead girl). I like movies. I really like zombie movies and gore and horror flicks. I love music, poetry and art. I love to argue for no good reason. People intrigue me and often piss me off, but I love meeting new people.
I am waylaid by Beauty. Who will walk
Between me and the crying of the frogs?
Oh, savage Beauty, suffer me to pass,
That am a timid woman, on her way
From one house to another!
