I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I play the bass guitar and sing in the Milwaukee rock cover band Old Mil . I also sing and play bass in a classic rock cover band based out of Port Washington called Otto Day & The Nites when schedules allow. Music has been a major part of my life as far back as I can remember. I also play the piano, guitar, and drums whenever I have the time and also enjoy working on original compositions.

My Interests

I have a lot of interests, too many to mention really. The guys in the band have made me take up beekeeping to overcome my fear of bees.

I'd like to meet:

All of the singers, songwriters, and musicians who I admire and have influenced me.

80's rockers Huey Lewis & The News performing an awesome cover of Thin Lizzy's "The Boys Are Back In Town". Gotta love Huey's hair!

Bass virtuoso Victor Wooten putting his spin on The Beatles "Norwegian Wood". All I can do is watch and listen in awe.

This is a video of one of my new favorite guitarists, Sonny Landreth. The song is called "Uberesso". Simply awesome!

A small tribute to my best friend whom I lost to cancer on August 31, 2007.

Music:

I listen to everything!

Movies:

The Shawshank Redemption, Cinderella Man, Tombstone, The Blues Brothers, GoodFellas, Carlito's Way, The Natural, Sneakers, The Hustler, That Thing You Do, Smokey & The Bandit (Parts 1 & 2), The Big Lebowski, Back To The Future (all three), I could go on and on and on!

Television:

How It's Made, Austin City Limits, Still Standing, King Of Queens, Ghost Hunters, Three's Company, Law & Order: SVU & Criminal Intent, Muscle Car, CSI: Vegas, CONCERT on HDNet, again I could go on and on.

Heroes:

My parents, all of the men and women who have served and are currently serving our country, my Rottweiler "Elmo" (miss ya buddy), Robert Simiele (my high school music teacher), Brett Favre, Jake & Elwood, and whoever invented the boneless buffalo wing.
