The Celestial Ones

Started playing the guitar at 16..the only thing that saved my soul from highschool. My first real band experience was when I met Zena Hagerty founder of Sublimatus. ...ironicaly it was nothing like a "band" it was more of a conceptual experience on art and life that sometimes involved music. go check it out . This opened all the cells in my brain to prepare for improvisational music. I dove into Jazz, 20th cetury classical ,Joy Division, Morton Subotnik ,Ravi Shankar.....All the while Playing Electric guitar (loudly). In my other spare time, well it was all the time I was painting and drawing abstract everything. My good friend Gaven Dianda used to come over and we'd stay up all night talking about whatever painting calamity could arise. Many joints later ....needless to say, some awsome art did happen. Then Gaven got going on the old guitar and about 3 days later we were rocking out. Once we got our hands on some decent guitars and 100watt amps it was a non stop fuzz fest.We needed a real focus for all this and began talking about a band......Meanwhile this other cat named Dan Beer was having these wild parties..(anyone who was there relax,I wont go into the details)....where Dan Gaven and myself just started making some extremely psychedelic music that became the core of Thee Gnostics..From full out psych out to far out jazz maddness. thats what happened when I got my hands on an old tenor sax. I'd already learned the reed from playing the clairinet so onc I had the tenor I just blew my brains out..non stop.......While playing in Sublimatus I met Everete Zxiu A free form double bassist. We got together and started doing all improvised music...I was also starting on the fiddle..I jump from clarinet to guitar to fiddle to sax mostly free form jazz... In stepped Gaven Dianda , this time on drums...the birth of The Fourth Way...totally wild and scary. People loved it. .
