I'm just a kid trying their hardest not to grow up. I started playing guitar at 11 and haven't stopped. I've got a band about harry potter and work as a LifeTeen Musician for Our Lady of Good Counsel church. I've recorded two albums (one on my own, one with Tonks & the Aurors), and I'm playing more shows than I know what to do with.
I recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA in Theatre Design and Production in April, which is pretty awesome. Currently, I'm stage managing Wrockstock (a 3 day concert festival in St. Louis) and the University of Michigan Educational Theatre Company's Summer Orientation show.
My dad taught me when I was very young to love film. I love studying film history, especially silent movies. Charles Chaplin is my favorite filmmaker of all time. My two favorite movies are "City Lights" and "Being There."
Then there's stand up comedy. When I have the money and good comedians are around, I like spend time at the clubs around Michigan. Hopefully whenever I'm not playing shows with the band or stage managing I'll be seeing some stand up this summer.
I'm a podcast addict. I will listen to any podcast if it's funny enough or about something I care about.
I don't go on this profile much anymore because I have to manage my band's myspace...so if you need/want to get a hold of me, go to www.myspace.com/tonksandtheaurors I promise you I'll reply faster and more enthusiastically there than here.
