Who Me?

I am here for Friends

About Me

"I got a black belt in keeping it real" .. width="425" height="350" .. So...first and foremost, I love my wife and my siblings. I dare say no one is more important to me. They are my roots. I have this brilliant idea that we will one day all work together in some kind of business for the betterment of all of you. Other than that, things to know: I'm a nut, driven, a really good time, ambitious, relaxed. I love a great home-cooked meal, don't enjoy fast food, LOVE sleeping in on the weekend and breakfast makes me so happy. If you're my friend I'll do anything for you. Lying is not on my list of acceptable traits, nor is cheating. Being crazy is not endearing. I like new vocabulary words, snail mail, cold beer, romantic dinners, thoughtful gestures, an accent is beyond sexy, great conversation, dogs, fireplaces, and hanging out on the deck with great drinks and great friends. I am bound to the water, and never lose enthusiasm and awe for the sunset. I have a tough exterior, but there's a soft spot in there somewhere. I heart the smell of winter air just before it snows. I heart cuddling on chilly evenings, while the wind whips outside. Laughing is good for the soul. I LOVE high heels, the pointier the better. And guess what, I can run like the wind in them. People treat me like royalty, and I thank them for that.

My Interests

All things organic!! and whatever helps the little farmer in the mid-west who no one ever thinks about....buying anything locally to supoport the little guy vs stepping foot inside chain stores. MARTINIS, Mmmm, I love you martini...knitting, watching surgeries on T.V. while people are trying to eat, finding mischief with my siblings, being near the open ocean, vicious roars with little bites, cleaning, anything sexy, knowing you're loved, the underdog, sleeping in, being asked for your opinion, helping a friend, inside jokes, great memories, learning from your mistakes, 100% effort, mom's chicken soup, responsibility, indulging, a good pen, getting an invitation to a party, belonging somewhere, a nice smile, Khiels, T-storms, big dreams, watching time pass, swaying in a hammock, kissing for the first time, cool sayings, positive feedback, a good outlook, good advice, taking pictures, talking with an old friend, great music, unplanned evenings that turn into great nights of adventure, being part of a tradition, getting over something and moving on, respect, feeling the cool breeze, knowing when something is happening for the last time, Fall River Chow Mein, apple picking, manicures, fresh ground coffee, high heels, learning new things, working on a car, impressing someone with something I know

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with ambition, a desire to do something with their life. I don't really dig people who play the stupid card. Someone with a good sense of humor. I like people who are easy to spend time with, that don't take a lot of energy. Its nice to hang out with people who make you feel like you've known them for years, even if you met them five minutes ago. I don't have a lot of time for people who suck the life out of a room. I like people who are comfortable in their own skin and can take care of themselves in a crowd or in a new situation. I love those nights when everyone seems to come together spontaneously to make some of the greatest memories you have.

Music:

anything with a tune..and bad karaoke

Movies:

videos of the prom. Anyone's prom as long as there is terrible hair, puffy sleeves, and the longest white limos around

Television:

Sunday Morning is the ultimate. Trailer Park Boys -thanks Graham. I could also enjoy some downtime watching The Office, Sopranos, or those old-school cartoons (you know the ones with the bouncing white ball that tells you the words of the songs)

Books:

the ever-lovin' bible, Catcher in the Rye, To Kill a Mockingbird, Hope for the Flowers, The Giving Tree, David Sedaris, Where the Red Fern Grows

Heroes:

my parents, anyone who can make a career out of charity work, someone who can make something out of seemingly nothing, Sally Ride, Jackie-O
