My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Unfortunately the only consistent member is Michael Morse who writes the songs (that make the young girls cry), plays several nifty geetars (among other things), and sings like an angel (with too much alcohol in its system) The rest of the band however is quite inconsistant. MJ & The Heretics desperately need a constant rhythm section, so if you or someone you know is a drummer or bass player in the NYC area, there is a position available for you in MJ & The Heretics! Also Mike thinks electric organs are pretty cool too. Just send us a message if you are interested.
Influences: The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Velvet Underground, The Modern Lovers, Ramones, The Stooges, The Violent Femmes, DEVO, Jimi Hendrix, Robert Johnson, Lead Belly, Black Flag, Sex Pistols, Patti Smith, John Lee Hooker, Richard Hell, The Vaselines, The MC5, The Pixies, Muddy Waters, The Monkees, Johnny Cash, Donovan, Blondie, The Fugs, Lightnin' Hopkins, Meat Puppets, The Misfits, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Janis Joplin, Neil Young, The Dead Kennedys, The Cure, The Kinks, The Kingsmen, The Clash, Operation Ivy, Chuck Berry, Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Cream, The Flaming Lips, The Germs, New York Dolls, Jan and Dean, Fats Domino, Tom Petty, The Stray Cats, The Troggs, The Rolling Stones, Joan Jett, The Beach Boys, BB King, Bo Diddley, R.E.M., T.
