The name D.O. (Denial Of) Science refers to the notion that, unlike mathematics, logic and such, it is very hard or in my opinion even impossible to create a predefined science of making music. Even though many attempts has been made, the greatest music has throughout the history been created by artists who never restricted themselves to some set of predefined rules. That way you write your own rules and create your own musical science. DO Science. The science of music is dynamic, when you deny the existing science you are free to expand and renew it into your own musical theory. Myself I'm a 22 year old producer from Gothenburg, Sweden. I primarily produce hip hop beats, but I don't listen to hip hop that much, rather 70's soul/funk, jazz, blues, reggae, latin and world music.
