Babelfish

About Me

Babelfish were born on a cold wet January night during Celtic Connections Festival in Glasgow 2005. The need for a banging end to the late night festival club meant dragging the somewhat inebriated members onto a stage in front of around 2000 people, who were also funnily enough - drunk. After a brief but memorable tour of the Highlands of Scotland it was onward to the dizzy heights of the Phat Controller's studio in Skye for a recording for Radio Scotland to commemerate the G8 confernce, held in Scotland in 2006. Some of that recoding can be heard here. Now it appears that Babelfish find themselves in yet another political arena, the Scottish Elections 2007, as part of radio programme hosted by Lesley Riddoch to increase awareness of the right to vote and that it is not to be wasted. Check our dates for these events. If you're interested in the debates go to - www.scottishvotepods.com - in all cases vote Babelfish.
