The Hadean is the era when Earth was in a liquid and very hot state of being, about 4.6 billion years ago. It derives from Hades, which is Greek for “unseen†and which is suggesting the underworld of Greek mythology.
Under this symbol, the style of music of Hadean is becoming clear.
While performing very powerful and aggressive music, the depth of its atmosphere, and the dynamic of their tunes, have become significant trademarks, as well as the feeling of something really big, you cannot fully grasp with ease, something that has come a very long way to speak to you. Even if it seems very straight at times, it is complex in the same moment and always in very intense form.
Hadean was founded by Timotheus Schlösser (drums), Lars Kaufmann (bass), and Nicco Schmitz (guitar), which played already together for some years. Adding Daniel La China (guitar), the first Hadean line- up was complete.
During some time of song writing, the band wasn’t able to find a right vocalist, until in early 2005 Andreas von Lipinski, joined.
After some rehearsals the bands first stage appearance happened in 2005. Soon after that, the members decided to put the band on hold, since each of them was involved in other projects and assignments.
It wasn’t until 2007 that the four founding members decided to play their second concert at a band contest. The first idea was, to perform a mixed set of composed and fully improvised music, without any singing at all.
But after two plain instrumental rehearsals, Lipinski appeared to take over the vocal duties once again, on the third and last rehearsal.
Motivated by the great chemistry of playing together and the extremely good feedback after the show, the 5 musicians were determined to start over again.
Now a first album is planned, which will be promoted by following gigs this year.
Hadean’ s music is a melting pot of different songwriting styles of the members, which has led to comparisons with bands like Iced Earth, Metallica, Nevermore, Megadeth and even Death!
The truth is, Hadean’ s sound and concept is neither a plain imitation of one of the mentioned bands, nor an entirely different thing. It may sound like something new, but also like something that is familiar, and something that has come a very long way to speak to you.
