A former Miss Teen Drag Queen... turned loving wife. I'm hardly what you would call your average woman. I live to subvert the paradigm that is put forth about transgender women through education, personal relationships, and the honest depiction of 21st century narratives about the universality and interrelatedness of all our lives and the journey of self discovery that can come from gender transition.I'm a dissonant malcontent writer now living in exile from my former homeland. I have traveled the world, learned several languages, delved into a number of cultures, all the while looking for myself. I am above all things an adventurer and a traveler. My life is rarely ever boring, even in the moments between adventures.I found the love of my life by accident at a moment when I was not looking or expecting to. I believe in The Secret, and that I have been the architect of my own reality. I am a strong believer in metaphysical realities, mediumship, and intuition as a source for spiritual grounding. I believe in the ancient wisdoms and religions that predate Christianity, and look backwards for guidance and alternatives to the current western-war driven-sky god didactics.
I'm into painting, rock climbing, surfing in the summer, hanging with my friends, and writing. I and generally working, or out causing trouble with friends. I write both prose and poetry, most of which is now public with a few exceptions.I dig bigger cities: Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Paris, Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia, Rome, NYC, Brussels, London, Atlanta, San Diego, and sometimes Berlin where I have met countless, interesting spirits. I travel a lot for work and pleasure. I am frequently traveling, hoboing, or generally drifting about looking for life's answers, my next meal and a place to stay until I figure out the answers to my bigger questions in life.I am fortunate in that I live my passions and am able to work in a field that I feel so strongly about and love doing. If there is one word to describe me, it would be: passionate. About those I love, about issues, about emotions, about spirituality, about everything.
Sometimes it's hard for me to get back to people right away as I get pretty busy with work and life, I generally only write back to people that I know in real life (with very few exceptions), or people who peak my interest and actually have something to say. If you write me one line, or don't read my profile, don't bother honestly.
I love Poetry, Photography, Prose Writing, and my sweet heart Simon.
I would like to think I'm a rather free spirit, somewhat down to earth, and exceptionally caring when it comes to the people in my life that I call friends. I am a water spirit, and I flow over everything, through everything, and around everything. I am rarely pinned down or in one place or even one person for very long. So lay back and enjoy the rumbling sound of the ever changing ocean that is my existence. I don't generally get along with people who are static, stoic, or 'conservative' in the sense of disliking change.
I have a great website, so check it out if you have the time there's a LOT more info about me there. It has a lot of my work, writings, and history, and tons photos (yeah.. I'm a bit of a camera hog)..
That's about it for now..

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'm not looking to talk to anyone who is self-absorbed, superficial, or otherwise lacking substance. If you're one of the pretty people, one of the pretentious idiots who thinks material wealth or possessions get you anything or mean anything about you, continue on past my profile.I'm looking for people with character, culture, attitude, and a unique view of the world with general sense of adventure and a strong inner-child that drives them.Anyone can be superficial and beautiful if they work hard enough, appearances are deceiving and grow boring quickly. I'm much more interested and impressed by folks who have drive, vision, desire, passion, uniqueness, something to say, and insight into life.
