Punx Union is an artist driven organization which organizes punk shows at venues throughout Southern California. We are not-for-profit, putting the interest of performing acts on an equal footing with our own. We have the same goal true punk bands have - to be involved in making great shows happen.
If you would like to help out, ask us to add a show to the monthly listings or have comments or suggestions, please contact us.
If you are a band (or member of a band) looking for a show with the Punx Union; our requirements are as follows:
1) Your band must have punk rock roots. Influences such as The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, The Germs, Black Flag, GBH, and so forth.
2) Your band must have previous experience performing at live venues.
3) Your band must be willing to contribute to the Punx Union (show promotion, show administration.)
4) Your band must not suck.
5) Your band must submit material so we can make sure about number 4.
6) IF YOUR BAND SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING THAT COULD GET RADIO PLAY ON CLEARCHANNEL NETWORKS OR MTV/VH1 WE ARE PROBABLY NOT INTERESTED.
