I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4Q.U.I.F.F stands for Queers Uncovering Identity & Finding a Forum. QUIFF is an all encompassing art magazine aimed at promoting and “finding a forum” for queer artists of any medium. QUIFF is set to distribute a quarterly magazine featuring cutting edge visual art, performance, music, writing, spoken word, photography, film, theatre and much more from the queer community.We are interested in hearing from any artists in any medium to be involved in the first issue. We especially want to hear from any artists who are pushing boundaries, making a statement & tearing down the constructs of traditional artistry through their work. QUIFF is a platform for queer artists to be heard as well as recognized. We will be profiling the artists & featuring many talented writers and photographers. If you are interested in becoming a part of the magazine or submitting art/writing we would also love to hear from you. QUIFF is a Sydney based project but long term we are aiming to have the magazine distributed internationally.QUIFF sits outside the mainstream and is designed to promote art that is unashamed, political, gender oriented, outrageous, thoughtful, insightful, bent, twisted, subversive, raw, shocking & queer.
