Right! the box that I've been dreading like a trip to the Dentist, because I just really hate writing about myself - I mean you dont want people to think your a total spud, but in the same breath you dont want people to think that you worship yourself, probably in front of a mirror? any way's... here goes, Hello? (always a good start) as you might of gathered I'm Martin (28) and living in Manchester, I'm a sound/monitor technician and events organiser, plus I also work in a museum.
I co-run BIGHEADMEDIA with my best bud, co-hort and comedy stand up genius, that will really corrupt your fond memories of childhood!- Mr 80sLUKE, in brief we're a small media miracle, specialising in event organisation ( mainly comedy and music). I'm well qualified and have shed loads of experience including bars, clubs, pubs, festivals, T.V. voice work and even radio stations- of which during the past four years or so, I have held some sort of live show, from the flagship breakfast slot to late night comedy specials, also even finding time to manage my own regeneration award winning, community radio station in Salford, back in 2004.
I also have a keen interest in politics too, having studied both Community Development and Trade Unionism , sitting nationally on behalf of a union body negociating pay schemes and for workplace entitlements, BUT! I just cant seem to help wandering back to my addiction and main passion (anything and everything sound and creative industries).
I have two kiddies, a Boy and a Girl, a top other half, great freinds and plenty of bills to pay too, and for now I reckon I've told you enough, because the last thing I need at the min, is identity theft. So if you want to know any more? that either makes you a nosey parker, or interested in me sorting you out in some way....?
