In 2002, Saadiq founded his own record label, Pookie Entertainment. Among the artists on the label are Joi, ex-Lucy Pearl member Rashon Graves, and Truth HurtsIn 2007,I had the opportunity to work with and for Saadiq before he was called on to produce the whole third solo album around september of 2007.His official website currently reveals that he is working on a new album for Columbia Records.On July 1st 2008, he invited 100 "ladies only" via his Myspace blog to a secret pre-listening party for the new album to be held at a tba location on July 6th. The same blog features a detailed review of the new set, entitled "The Way I See It". According to this post, the album will feature contributions from British singer Joss Stone on the Smokey Robinson-inspired "Just One Kiss" as well as the legendary Stevie Wonder on a track called "Never Give You Up".But, am still workin at same time on my solo career as well. Writing songs here and there.
