Latest News
Dear One Tree Hill fans,
For the past few seasons we have been working on this site and all of us at OTHFanSupport have grown so attached to this site and to the thousands of fans that come to our site every day to get their daily dose of One Tree Hill. If you have been our friend for awhile, you know that our myspace page has had so many problems and the things we put so much work into just disappear. You know we don't ask for money and we do all of this out of our free time. We've decided that we would like to move our site to an actually website entitled www.othfansupport.com. But for a website, that would include money which we don't have extra of. If we can't get the chance to have our website, away from myspace (which has caused us many problems),then that will be the end of OTHFanSupport.
We would really like to continue to bring all of the fellow One Tree Hill fans news, videos, music, and photos. And we would hate to say goodbye. But we need some help from everyone.
So please help us and SAVE OTHFANSUPPORT.
Thanks,
OTHFanSupport

SOPHIA'S KIND OF MAN
It has been more than two years since One Tree Hill Stars Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray split, and while Chad is now engaged to Kenzie Dalton, Sophia is still happily single.
So what does a guy need to do to win her heart?
"[He's] got to make me belly-laugh," Sophia tells OK! at the Global Green Pre-Oscar party. "I do ridiculous things to make myself laugh all the time."
A sense of humor is not the only thing on the checklist for the Sophia though. The 25-year-old, who's recently been linked to her other fellow One Tree Hill actor, James Lafferty, also says she needs a "driven, motivated and smart" guy.
"Intellect is the sexiest thing in the world to me," Sophia says, but adds, "you've still got to make me laugh."
And since she's an avid environmentalist, could she ever date someone who wasn't green?
"I can't imagine dating someone who wasn't because I would be up in his face about it all the time."

THE NARROWS
It seems that we won't be waiting too much longer to have a release for Sophia's latest upcoming movie, The Narrows. According to IMDB, within the last two weeks the movie's status has been changed, and it is now simply waiting for a distributor, before it can be released. We're not entirely sure what time frame that implies, but if we hear any more then we will, of course, let you guys know, but this seems pretty promising for a release in the very near future!

SOPHIA THE WEDDING PLANNER?
Word is Jessica Simpson is on the verge of marrying her American football star boyfriend Tony Romo, or at least according to Sophia.
The One Tree Hill star is convinced the couple will wed in the near future.
She says, "They're perfect for each other. They're both funny and wonderful and kind. I'm rooting for them."
And Bush isn't the only person who thinks the Dallas Cowboys star will propose to Simpson soon. His rocker friend Michael Starr, who plays in popular Hollywood parody band Metal Skool and has been pals with Romo for years, agrees.
Starr tells American magazine Us Weekly, "I think they're going to get married." Thursday, February 21, 2008

CHAD'S NEW MOVIE
Now that Karyn Kusama is on board to direct Jennifer's Body, Diablo Cody's follow-up to Juno, casting is beginning in earnest. Luckily we have a source close to the production who has told us who is being looked at for some major roles in the film.
The lead role of Needy, the Buffy of the piece, if you will, is being offered to Amanda Seyfried, Big Love's Sarah. That's not a done deal, but with nothing on her IMDB after the upcoming Mamma Mia!, I imagine Seyfried will be happy to take the role.
More interesting, perhaps, are two names that are being bandied about for Nikolai; he's the leader of the Satanic emo band that starts all of the problems that turns Needy into an ass-kicking monster fighter. The production is looking at two legitimately emo dip****s - Pete Wentz of Fallout Boy and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte. Here's to hoping that the third name on the list, One Tree Hill's Chad Michael Murray, is who they go with. Monday, February 11,2008

SOPHIA MADNESS
One of the best things about New York? The food, says One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush.
During a recent trip to the Big Apple she and new pal Rumer Willis have been doing some serious binging. "We went out and ate some late night French fries," Bush told PEOPLE at a party for Old Navy. "We ate them everywhere we could get them." She added: "We're so bad, we're supposed to be promoting health and working out and we had three orders at our small hotel and at a diner – and we're eating our way through New York."
But the One Tree Hill star says that hanging with Willis has been a blast. "She's like me, no B.S. No drama. No attitude ... She has a hot little body and so smart and so funny."
Another thing Bush has in common with her friend: a healthy attitude about body image. "At the end of the day, my family is Italian," she said at a BlackBerry launch party the night before. "[Food is] such a part of my life and family time and enjoyment and a source of real pleasure. It’s not something I’d ever give up. I’m very happy to be a [size] 2-4 [rather] than a double 0."
Sophia was also caught at the Herve Leger By Max Azria Fall 2008 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2008 at The Promenade at NYC’s Bryant Park last night.
When approached with the Superbowl question of who she was rooting for, Sophia responded, "Giants! ... I'm going to throw on sweats. I have a lot of friends in town so we're going to pick a bar and go watch and eat chicken wings...I'm rooting for the Giants. I always root for the underdog."

BRYAN IN BARACK OBAMA "YES, WE CAN" SONG

My Interests

The Cast
CHAD MICHAEL MURRAY as LUCAS SCOTT

A young actor whose performances have earned him praise from critics and audiences alike, Chad Michael Murray is currently starring as the lead on The CW's hit drama, “One Tree Hill,” as Lucas Scott, a brooding intellectual who is struggling to find his place in Tree Hill.

Murray can next be seen on the big screen in Irwin Winkler’s “Home of the Brave,” opposite Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Biel and 50 Cent.

Previous television roles include playing the love interest for Katie Holmes' and Michelle Williams' characters on “Dawson's Creek,” and Alexis Bledel's over-confident classmate on “Gilmore Girls.”

On the big screen Murray recently starred as the lead in Joel Silver's remake of “House Of Wax,” opposite Elisha Cuthbert. He starred as Prince Charming in Warner Bros' “A Cinderella Story,” opposite Hilary Duff and co-starred in Disney's critically acclaimed remake of “Freaky Friday,” opposite Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.

Murray was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, where he also attended college on a scholarship. Murray is an anti-drug role model for kids and is active in charities for children and teens. He currently resides in Los Angeles.

JAMES LAFFERTY as NATHAN SCOTT

James Lafferty returns for a fourth season in the hit drama, "One Tree Hill," as Nathan Scott, the favored son of Dan Scott (Paul Johansson) and half-brother to Lucas (Chad Michael Murray).

Born and raised in Hemet, California, Lafferty spent much of his childhood hanging out with friends and his younger brother, Stuart, taking acting classes and playing basketball, his two passions in life.

Lafferty successfully balanced a high school education and starting spot on his varsity basketball team with his burgeoning acting career, landing a starring role opposite Ron Pearlman in the independent feature "Boys on the Run."

The sitcom "Emeril" gave Lafferty his first series regular role as the son of Emeril's character. He followed that up with ESPN's "A Season on the Brink." Lafferty's role in the film was a prelude to his "One Tree Hill" role, since he was able to first showcase his basketball prowess in front of the cameras. Starring opposite Brian Dennehy, Lafferty played Steve Alford, the star player of the Indiana Hoosiers basketball team. He has also made guest appearances on "Once and Again," "Boston Public" and most recently, HBO's "Unscripted."

Currently living in Wilmington, North Carolina, Lafferty has been working on film projects set up through his production banner while continuing to film "One Tree Hill." He has hosted numerous charity basketball events for local organizations and schools in the Wilmington area. Lafferty has also lent his support to other charitable organizations recently, including Lamar Odom's Music Jam and The Pink Project. When he isn't working, Lafferty spends time with his friends and his dog Nino on his boat.

SOPHIA BUSH as BROOKE DAVIS

Sophia Bush plays Brooke Davis, a feisty cheerleader and temptress in the hit drama “One Tree Hill.”

Bush recently completed production on the feature “John Tucker Must Die,” with Jesse Metcalf, Brittany Snow and Ashanti, as well as the independent film “Stay Alive,” with Frankie Muniz and Samaire Armstrong.

Her first movie role was in the comedy “Van Wilder,” with Ryan Reynolds and Tara Reid. Bush played Sally, a freshman in college who harbored a huge crush on Reynolds’ character. She also appeared in HBO’s “Point of Origin,” with Ray Liotta and John Leguizamo, and the independent film “Learning Curves.” Bush was most recently seen in the feature film “Supercross,” co-starring Daryl Hannah and Robert Patrick.

Bush was featured in a three-episode arc in the drama “Nip/Tuck,” as a devious teenage bisexual. She also made a guest appearance on The WB’s “Sabrina The Teenage Witch,” as Sabrina’s arch rival.

Born and raised in Pasadena, California, Bush started her career on her high school theater stage. Having been crowned the Pasadena Rose Queen, Bush quickly attracted attention from Hollywood.

Bush is an avid scrap-booker. She enjoys photography, reading and spending time with her friends.

HILARIE BURTON as PEYTON SAWYER

Hilarie Burton plays Peyton Sawyer, the fiercely independent, beautiful high school student on the hit drama "One Tree Hill."

Audiences are familiar with Hilarie Burton from her work as one of MTV's hottest VJs. With a presence in network and cable TV, radio and soon, the big screen, she is one of the hottest young stars of today.

Burton recently wrapped production on two thrillers: “Solstice,” set for a fall 2006 release, and “The List,” scheduled to be released in 2007. “The List” is centered around a sudden death tied to a list from the past, leading to unimaginable evil. Burton’s latest feature, “Our Very Own,” whose ensemble cast features Allison Janney, Jason Ritter and Cheryl Hines, was screened at the prestigious Sarasota Film Festival this year and was honored with a special “Outstanding Ensemble Acting” Award.

As a former host of "TRL," MTV's wildly popular request show, and various MTV specials, Burton interviewed the most talked-about people in entertainment, from Angelina Jolie to Britney Spears.

Born and raised in Loudoun County, Virginia, with her three brothers, Burton developed a passion for acting early in life. Shortly after moving to New York to pursue her dream, she landed the coveted job of VJ at MTV and her role on “One Tree Hill.”

Burton resides in Wilmington, North Carolina, where "One Tree Hill" is being filmed.

BETHANY JOY GALEOTTI as HALEY JAMES

Actress and musician Bethany Joy Galeotti (newly married) returns for a fourth season as Haley, the quintessential girl-next-door and best friend to Lucas Scott (Chad Michael Murray), on hit drama "One Tree Hill."

Galeotti began her theatre career at age 7 in Dallas, Texas, as a Munchkin in a local production of “The Wizard of Oz.” She went on to play Scout in “To Kill a Mockingbird,” Baby June in “Gypsy,” and appeared in a long string of other Dallas theatre productions. By the time she was 13, Galeotti moved with her family to New Jersey and had begun her transition from stage to screen through a series of national commercials (Eggo Waffles, Dr. Pepper and Buick, among others) and television pilots.

In her sophomore year of high school, Galeotti’s talent caught the eye of a casting director for Stephen King's feature “Thinner,” and she was hired to play Linda Halleck. In March of 1998, she landed a nine-episode stint on the daytime drama “Guiding Light,” as Reva Shayne's teenaged clone. Her performance as the spunky and vulnerable clone earned her raves from viewers and critics alike. In 1999, while still appearing on the show, she was cast as Rose Cronin in “Mary and Rhoda,” playing the daughter of Mary Tyler Moore's character in the TV movie based on the popular 1970s TV show. After two successful years on the soap opera, Galeotti headed to the West Coast and into prime time. She booked roles on “Felicity,” “Charmed,” “The Guardian,” the Weitz brothers comedy “Off Center,” “Maybe It's Me” and the pilot “Destiny” for Jerry Bruckheimer Productions. Later that year, she starred in the comedy “Bring It On, Again,” a sequel to the Universal feature “Bring It On.”

Galeotti was vocally trained by the Director of The Brooklyn College of Opera. She still considers herself a “musical theatre baby” and her Los Angeles stage credits include working with director Garry Marshall and Carole King on a new musical and with director Arthur Allan Seidelman on a production of “The Outsiders.”

The most recent development in Galeotti’s career is a recording contract with Sony/Epic Records. Her original music has been inspired mostly by artists such as Sheryl Crow, James Taylor, Fiona Apple and Billy Joel. Her album is expected to release in 2007.

Her hobbies include cooking, horseback riding, knitting, fashion and, of course, music.

LEE NORRIS as MOUTH MCFADDEN
Lee Norris returns for a fourth season to the hit drama, “One Tree Hill.”

Familiar to audiences since the age of 9, Norris made his television debut in “The Torkelsons,” followed by “Almost Home” and “Boy Meets World,” where he quickly became a fan favorite as “Stuart Minkus.” Other appearances include “Touched By An Angel” and “Dawson’s Creek.”

Norris’ film credits include Goldie Hawn’s directorial debut, “Hope,” and “The Journey of August King.” Norris recently wrapped production on the indie comedy “Surf School” and will next be seen in David Fincher’s crime thriller “Chronicles.”

Norris is a graduate of Wake Forest University and currently resides in Wilmington, North Carolina, where “One Tree Hill” is filmed.

PAUL JOHANSSON as DAN SCOTT

Multi-talented actor, writer and director Paul Johansson stars as Dan Scott, Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Nathan’s (James Lafferty) father, who is struggling to recover from his latest attack and seemingly wants to put his family back together, in the hit drama “One Tree Hill.”

Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, Johansson was an avid athlete like his father, a former NHL player. After playing with the Canadian National team and leading his University to the Canadian College Championship game, he began contemplating a professional career in basketball overseas. Johansson chose to close the door on his athletic career and instead set his sights on Hollywood.

Making his Hollywood debut on the soap opera “Santa Barbara,” he soon moved on to a succession of television roles in such shows as “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose,” “Beverly Hills, 90210,” “Lonesome Dove: The Series,” “Highlander: The Raven” and “Ed McBain’s 87th Precinct.” Johansson also made memorable guest appearances in “Dharma and Greg” and “The Drew Carey Show.” He also had a recurring role in “The District.”

On the big screen, Johansson played Sally Field’s soap opera husband in the film “Soapdish.” His other movie credits include “When the Party’s Over,” “The Big Picture,” “She’s So Lovely,” “A Wilderness Station” and “Carnival of Souls.” Johansson can next be seen in “Alpha Dog,” opposite Bruce Willis and Sharon Stone.

As a filmmaker, Johansson wrote and directed the acclaimed 19-minute film short, “Conversations in Limbo,” which opened the Toronto Short Film Festival. This film was honored at the Nashville Independent Film Festival and ultimately acquired by the Sundance Film Channel.

Johansson was recently awarded two Emmys for the Showtime television film he wrote and directed, “The Incredible Mrs. Ritchie.” The film stars Gena Rowlands and James Caan and was produced by Nick Cassavetes.

Currently, Johansson lives in Los Angeles.

The Beginning of One Tree Hill One Tree Hill was started by Mark Schwahn, the executive producer and creator of One Tree Hill, and a group of producers and screenwriters who decided to come up with a show/movie with basketball, drama, and out-of-control teen parties. It was originally going to be called, "The Ravens" ,but then decided to change it to "One Tree Hill" for the name of the town and Tree Hill High. It was originally going to be a 2-hour movie, but decided it would be best as a TV series. The Pilot episode of One Tree Hill aired on September 23, 2003 on The WB. The show has always been shot in Willmington, North Carolina at well known local homes, The Bridge, the baskebtall court[created by the One Tree Hill crew], and "Tree Hill High", home of the ravens; that many fans go and visit. Now at the end of its 4th season, One Tree Hill has become a nationwide phenomenon.
