Smitroc
Philander Smith Jr., better known by his stage name Smitroc, is an American rapper. In 2007 Smitroc formed his own record label Raplife Records and is releasing his first independent album "The Black Mansion" coming right after he finishes his group projects; vice versa .Smitroc was born in Fairfield, California and later moved to Vallejo. As a result, he has associated himself somewhat with Fairfield and its rap scene, including Fairfield rappers such as The Federation. He currently resides in , Fairfield on his own.After a rap session with friend Demos at his house one night, the two felt camaraderie, and agreed that if one of the two got a record deal they would put the other on. When Demos and Yung Trilla was discovered by Big P and Got to Goldmine Entertainment, Smitroc was also joined to the label.The three: Demos, Yung Trilla, and Smitroc, formed a group called Bust - On -Sight(Abbreviated: B.O.S.) . The pair had well-received appearances on the first two minor B.O.S. releases, Game Over and Game Over 2: The Chronicles, and due to the successes of the mixtapes, their debut single "Hell Naw" was widely anticipated and did well, both critically and on the radio.After the leaving of Demos to his own music in October 2007, a rivalry was sparked between Yung Trilla and his nemesis. Smitroc almost became embroiled in it through the song "Game Over(Diss Version)" from Game Over Mixtape. Til this day, nobody responded to it.As of July 23, 2008, Smitroc and B.O.S. member Yung Trilla formed a duo group called "Westcoast Assassins". They is currently finishing up their last mixtape under their "B.O.S." fame and work on a new project thats about to explode in 2009. Their's also a smash hit single on the way coming from Westcoast Assassins. In the meantime, Smitroc plans to go back to his old roots after he finishes his music with partner Yung Trilla. Other than that, Smitroc continues to do music with family and friends
