I have a daughter named Elexcia Makayla Chapa born on May 6 2004. I tried so hard to make it the 5th, if your really a friend you will understand. She is my world my life my love my everything. She is the only relationship that i will ever need in my life. She lives in corpus christi with her mother and it is extremely difficult to be so far away. I truely believe i am a good father.I wake up every morning and go to bed everynight with her in my mind, in my heart, and her little pink pillow in my arms. She is my motivation and my strength to contiune to fight for what i believe in. Especially the times when it seems the whole world is against me. When i feel like the world is crashing down on my shoulders i close my eyes, breathe and remember the times when she runs into my arms, the times when she holds me tighter than anyone ever has in my life with tears in her eyes. It truley is the greatest feeling ever to share a love like that. Its the worst feeling ever to have it stripped away.Its like every emotion i ever had is ripped out violently, the lumps in my throat tears in my eyes and a nausea that seems to never go away.. Everything i do here on this campus i do to try to make this world a better place, to make myself a better person,and to make myself a better father; all for my daughter Nothing i do is for my own personal gain. The laughter the smiles the playfullness the hugs and kisses, the time that i will never get back, most of all; I miss my baby!

Greatgrandfather was born in and lived in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas Mexico. So i guess that makes me third generation chicano. Fuck the politics, im mexican, sangre de mexica (Indigenous). i was born and raised in corpus christi. Veteran of the USMC. i dont care what color you are, what culture you live by, your political views, sexual preference, whatever, if you cool with me then im cool with you. if i feel what you stand for i will stand with you. I see myself as a visionary, and everyday is a battle to learn as much as i possibly can. I dont like watching my people segregate themselves and i will continue to fight starting here on this campus to bring them together.if you think i dont like you, your wrong. I hold no grudges. I try to make the best out of every situation. I am not trying to be a leader, just simply trying to open the minds of my people and allow them to realize their full potential. I dont take offense to anything anyone has to say. So speak your mind. I try to conversate with as many people as possible, and learn from each and every conversation.
I am on a quest for knowledge and life challenges.
Love to be curious and ask a ton of questions.
Try to make for an interesting conversationalist.
I can be silently critical of others.
And my quiet nature makes it difficult for people to get to know me.
I see myself at times as a philosopher, and try take everything philosophically.
