Reggie Showers is my idol & a friend. The first time I met him was when I was about 15 years old. I attended the NHRA Nationals in Sonoma, CA with my mother. I would stand in his autograph line, waiting to get his signature. The first thing I noticed about Reggie is that he would help work on his own bike, he wasn't there for media attention, but more so to RACE. He looked so determined in what he was doing and that is what I like about him most. From that day on I have looked up to him and kept in contact with him. He e-mails me advice and that advice has helped get me to where I am at today. One day, I will get my chance to race him & it will be the best well waited race in my life =D I hope one day Reggie will fly out and train me on the track with his knowledge and skill-so watch out! to the other racers, here I come.
