Super Models Gone Bad

It's just me, Lara Ashby. I was in a band called BIG MUFF in Carbondale, IL. We lost our drummer and good friend, Lynn Davis, to Breast Cancer. She battled it for 18 years and passed away on February 24, 2007. She was 53 years old. She was an inspiration to everyone she met. She was in 2 all-girl bands in Carbondale, Illinois. The first one ,BIG MUFF, lasted about 8 years. The second one, MOUSEY BROWNS, lasted about 6 months. She had a concept for a song called "Super Models Gone Bad". The Mousey Browns put the song into motion. I am calling this musical endeavor "EXPERIMENTAL". That leaves it open, wide open.I still wanted this to go on. I am still honoring Lynn Davis. I think it's a great name...no...a brilliant name!It is now December of 2008. I had an accident in August & had to have reconstructive shoulder surgery. I could not play any musical instruments for a while. I am back at it now. I recently started playing cello again. I have not resumed my private lessons. I am just playing. I am playing in a somewhat unconventional way, but I like it and it feels good. I have also resumed my studio project where I play all guitars, keyboards, cello and vocals. I am having other people play bass & drums. I will post the music as soon as I get some cello on there. All I want to do is play music. Well there are other things of course, like raising my 2 and 1/2 year old son. He is musically inclined already. It's to be expected. I'll keep you all posted as things change and progress.
