About Me

So I suppose I should just lay it all out. I'm 23 years old and a Senior at SIUE. My major is Sociology with a Minor in History to go in a field that has nothing to do with either...insurance. However, I am always plagued with the idea of administrating/teaching in higher education. I am gay and if you don't like, that's not my problem.As far as personality goes, I am mild mannered with outbursts of happiness, rage, sadness, etc. I have a bit of a time keeping everything together when times are stressful and I always have way too much "on my plate" as the saying goes. I am Christian, but probably less devoted than I think I am. I do not attend service, although I would like to. Of course that is my own fault I do not go. I want a relationship with the right balance of my own independence and devotion to the other. I am hard to control at times due my indepent nature. I great friend and I will never betray one, even to my family. However, I will never betray a family member either. This makes for rough situations at times when both parites are at odds with each other.I am not a reader, however I do like to read at certain times. I'm a writer, persay. I do less than I would like but everything I write I hate. I am a musician and perform with multiple ensembles during the year. I never think I do a good job, but I'm probably better than I give myself credit for. I'm an aspiring politician and I am very active in my school's extracurricular activities. The most notable is Delta Lambda Phi, Beta Zeta Chapter. It is one of the few things I hold close to my heart.There is it. I'd like to meet:

There are many people I would like to meet for various reasons, but the people I would like to meet most would have to be: My great-grandparents who immigrated to the U.S. I would also like to meet the founder of my Fraternity, the Dali Lama (why, I'm not sure), the President (again, why I'm not sure), and assorted ancestors. I feel that it is very important to know one's ancestors and heritage so that you know where you are going. To know where you are going, you must know where you are coming from. Family is of high importance and should always be kept in the mind.
