On a more serious tip... my first and foremost priority and interest is ever-advancing my intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ as a Man on a Mission for the Ministry of the Most High. I am a true worshipper... (John 4:23) and am not ashamed of it or the gospel... (Rom. 1:16). As long as He and I still got a love thang goin' on, I'm str8! I have committed myself, almost exclusively, to Kingdom Music. I'm a former jazz/neo-soul/r&b singer/songwriter and Operatic vocalist(Baritone), so I've always been about the evolution process of my sound and musical capabilities. The greatest book I have ever had the pleasure of reading is, of course, the BIBLE. It is more than just the Basic Intructions Before Leaving Earth. It's a historical map of our geneology, a hymnal, a foundation, and an epic love letter. It literally boggles my mind! The only other books that I would consider as true litertary pleasures are, "The Measure of a Man: A Spiritual Autobiography", by Sidney Poitier, "The Audacity To Hope: Thoughts On Reclaiming The American Dream", by Barach Obama, "The Gospel Of Good Success", by Pastor Kirbyjon H. Caldwell, and "Repositioning Yourself" as well as "He-Motions: Even Strong Men Struggle", both by Bishop T.D. Jakes. Mr. Poitier is the quintessential father-figure for all men and the hope for what young kats like me should want to aspire to. Mr. Obama is a dream-come-true for most African-Americans because he is a plausible candidate for the Presidency of the United States. Pastor Caldwell is the Senior Pastor @ my home church: Windsor Village United Methodist Church, in Houston, Tx. Bishop Jakes is Senior Pastor and Founder of The Potter's House church in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
