Born on the south-side of London Reiko grew up in the same the circumstance as most young black male’s, In a single parent family of five children with no father figure. Whilst growing up life can be confusing and difficult with no guidance and with no direction the streets of south London can be tough and Reiko had no choice but to adjust. Despite all this Reiko made the decision to attend a performing arts school where he where he developed and furthered his interest in music and acting to take his creativity to another level.Shortly after leaving college Reiko was signed to an independent label called ‘Wall St records’ and went on create a seven track solo EP, The EP had underground success with radio play Choice fm and Kiss FM’s hip-hop show’s, but Reiko soon left the label, He felt that not much was happening with his career this was not due to the label but the hip hop seen at that time, Reiko then became a victim of street life, selling drugs and getting involved in gang activity. After an attempted robbery by a drug addict where Reiko had a gun pointed in his face which would have been a different scenario if his friends where not with him at the time he decided to put the street life behind him. The House and Garage seen was taking over and had great chart commercial success. Reiko then went on to leave wall St to join a group called ‘Cream Cartel’ a follow up act to ‘So Solid’ the group did various shows around the country London, Cardiff, Manchester and also performed in Ayia Napa the group was signed to Independiante records, they made various track’s together ‘ The Cream Cartel Anthem’ and ‘2 double O G’s’ which had underground success But unfortunately due to bad publicity that So Solid was getting Cream Cartel along with various other acts including So Solid were eventually dropped.This in no way has this hindered the artistic capabilities of Reiko since then Reiko has realized three mix tape album’s and is producing a Dance album and is currently promoting one of the lead tracks of that album that tracks Round and Round ft Kandy and the underground hit DIRTY SWAGGA
