SpotLight Contestants

My name is April and I am from New Orleans, Louisiana. I am very out going and I like to do anything involving the outdoors. I have 3 beautiful kids and some pretty amazing friends. I am the Official Director of the SpotLight Contestants Profile. I have met so may wonderful people through myspace and one of those are Charles. Charles is from my hometown. He offered me a chance to be in his wonderful contest and I didn't want to at first but then I participated in the voting and I said to myself, this could be fun. Well I entered the contest, not to win, but to meet a lot of great people. Well I didn't think that I could stand a chance with all of the beautiful ladies that were in it, but I made the best out of it. I met a lot of great girls and they voted for me everyday!Because of them, they helped me win the contest. Yes, I am Ms. September of 2006. I was the first one to step up to the plate and I also raised the bar high for the future contestants. I got over 200,000 votes in one month. After my month, the contest got even more exciting. Charles decided to let men enter and my man JOE was the 1st male ever to win. He is Mr. November! After our months, the votes just kept rising and rising. We had Spotlight History, Rachel, Ms. December got over 300,000 votes and then her sister, Katie came in and took Ms. January, but wait, that wasn't it, Rachel's husband-Chris won Mr. February. He and Coop (contestant) brought in over a million votes between the both of them. Chris is now holding the spotlight record with over 800,000 votes for one month alone. Now that is determination.....Like I said this contest is fun and amazing. It gives you the chance to meet great people and you can develop great friendships...Look at Me and Coop and Rachel and Lisa...Yes, Lisa is Ms. April....As you look through Charles page, you will see so many awesome people. We have Natalie from Greece(Ms.June06), Tara from Texas, who is also the Director of the Spotlight Winner's Profile(Ms. May06),Nikki from Vegas,(Ms.April06),she also is the Director of Spotlight Group,there are so many ladies, Mandy, from LA, just had a baeutiful baby boy,(Ms. March06),Joleen is a single mom (Ms. July06)!!! These are just some examples. So see it is not just about outter beauty, it is about inner too. It's not about being young and sexy, there are some mothers that are winners. I just hope that everyone that is involved in this contest, whether you are a previous winner, a contestant, or just a friend of Charles or with any of us, that you can take away so much from this contest as I did...At least I hope so....
