Biography DjChini His passion for music never started, ...
it was always there.
His musical entourage can be described by his love for house, with mighty influences by recordlabel Defected, and his own creative touch which makes the music sound more natural, …. more alive.
While others try to make it sound more electric. Yet it took until 2006 before he started to take his skills seriously by putting his talent to the test.
This was achieved by entering several Dj contests; the largest was the "Belgium Vivafm DJ Contest". On this contest he battled against 511 dj's and became number one. Radiostation Vivafm saw him, and I quote, as: "the DJ Revelation of 2007"!
The source of his victory, said by one of the jury members, is his distinct selection of music, that extraordinary vibe, which was never encountered before in Belgium. This triggered him to organize several medium-sized parties where he played together with live musicians. Not only was it a great success but even others got inspired by his musical appearance.
Leading the path to play in big clubs like “Atmoz back home” (together with Pat Krimson) and “Club Roiall” (before Junior Jack, Kid Crème, Gregor Salto, Dj Roog, …).
His vision of groovy, funky, soulful, cheerful, clubby house sprung from his affection with, not just plain lounge sounds, but that smile-on-your-face, sunny feelings vibe. This also explains his detailed attention for the warming up of an immense night. This is neglected by many and even more who don’t understand it. The feelings created by the warming up are those of “total relaxation, from the most beautiful remote beach you can imagine, while heavily soaked with sunshine, thinking about just … nothing”. Many argue that sounds can’t be put down in words, so just reflect for yourself with the mixtape: “Tropical Therapy”.
After the mood is set, the night can commence. With never ending beats, derived from the newest house anthems flourished with familiar samples, live instruments, own edits/remixes and his exclusive finishing touch, to set the crowd on fire. Witnessed by his mixtape: “The love of house”. Currently concentrating on entertaining the masses, by producing, mastering, editing, remixing, … looking for new innovative compositions.
