SLIP

About Me

The Slip band was founded in September 2004 in Zagreb, Croatia by a two ex-members of Shamrock Rovers band from Zagreb. Orginal lineup was Tina Miskovic on the bodhran, Hrvoje Sudar on the guitar, Ivo Turk on the whistles and Nikola Ceran on the fiddle. Later on Ivan Bilic (irish flute) joined the band. The band is based in Zagreb, Croatia. Beside the numerous gigs in Croatia, Slip had few gigs in foreign countries like Czech republic, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria and Germany. The band plays Traditional Irish Instrumental Music. Besides that, the band likes to accept modern innovations in Irish music but also tends to retain the traditional sound. It was named after traditional Irish slip jig rhythm. The band recorded two tracks whick will appear on future album. First track is Great chimney set, and the second on is Dwarven stones set.
Our official contact of the band is [email protected]. You can also contact our whistler and gig manager Ivo Turk on [email protected] or on the cell phone +385 (0)95 808 3653
