Ever since the tender age of 14 when one of his friends took him to an illegal rave in a warehouse Doc Vin was hooked and never looked back since. He has the unique quality of mixing different styles of music associated within the underground scene, primarily Drum'n'Bass, Breakbeat (nuskool and oldskool), oldskool hardcore and has recently discovered the sound of dubstep!Since meeting the legendary Rcaine, who is now one of his closest friends, Doc Vin has become the no.1 resident breaks Dj at Rcaine's underground night Raw, a night that has developed into and is now renowned as the biggest and best underground event that Wolverhampton has to offer. With all the Raw events having a big following and always packed with clubbers from all over Wolverhampton, Doc Vin has rapidly become a household name as far as the local underground scene is concerned. His love for the crowd when dj'ing is his strong point and his sets mirror this as anytime he is behind the decks, the dancefloors don't get a breather with the clubbers rocking non-stop thanks to his unique style of mixing and tune selection.As a result he is now being acknowledged for his hard work in dj'ing, and regularly being approached by other promoters in the local area to play at various other nights in order to continue to push the local scene back into its prime - something very important to Doc Vin as he has lived and grew up in Wolverhampton during the days when it had a very lively scene. To re-iterate his love for fresh underground music, he has even converted a room in his house into a mini-club which contains, lasers, strobes, smoke machines etc where him and his fellow dj's often session for mixes, many have commented on the fact that his home club conversion creates an atmosphere and vibe better than most places they have been to recently.Another unique quality that he possesses is that he happens to be a fully qualified medical doctor (hence his dj name!). He was originally training to be a surgeon, however he felt with his people and communication skills he would best be suited to a career in psychiatry which he is now pursuing. Along with fellow Raw members Rcaine, Ca3 and Findley, their dream of putting Wolverhampton back on the map for fresh underground music is soon to be a reality!
