About Me

Music has always been my passion and I keep struggling to make it my profession . I learnt to play guitar when I was fourteen and we started our first band in the basement ,four acoustic guitars and a guy banging on on cabinet drawers turned up side down. The band was called queen 2 and ceased to exist after three rehearsals . Few years later I got an electric guitar and the drawer thrasher friend of mine bought a real drumkit and the other guitarist got the bass guitar. We manufactured our amps and speaker cabinets, the music equipmen being extremely expensive in Czechoslovaquia we had to improvise and as I was into electronics , we constructed and designed our own amps, speakers and distortion guitar efects and as I remember a couple of simple synthesizers as well. But the amps never worked properly ,there were constant electric problems and feedback noise in the garage where we played, perhaps also due to thrash metal volume abuse and alcoholic beverages that got spilled over the ampcircuits on friday nights. The band disbanded and I sold my recently acquired electric guitar cut and dyed my hair and started to listen to depeche modeWhen I was eighteen I was called to serve two year military service where I started a group of rock and we were knocking on heaven's doors with endless Axl Rose yeeeeeeah yeeeeeeah yeeeeeeah endings. After the military I left the country and travelled around Europe for two years making living as a street busker playing Eagles,Simon&Garfunkel,Bob Bylan , Beatles and Stones evergreens . In the 1994 I left for the United States and after travelling about for a year I setlled in New York City.I lived in Harlem close to Lenox avenue and the hiphop thing was just happening all over the place ,I wasn't too much into it but surely it must have influenced my sound some way ,at that time I also bought my first tascam four track recorder and started recording my own songs.I played and performed with a few bands around town and had a day job. After a couple of years I moved to Brooklyn appartment near Flatbush which was a Carribien hood where huge soundsystem were set up in the street below my window every other friday night in the summer and dancehall ,ragga beats shaked the walls of the old building with Mc..s sweating and swearing deep into the morning hours . About that time I bought Wyclef Jean eclectic cd and that had influenced me a lot and changed my perception of hiphopThrough the years in NYC many electic guitars, keyboards, guitar amplifiers, drummashines, effects ,digital recorders and all sorts of musical instruments came in and out of my room .I bought, sold, exchanged and traded through The Loot magazine, seconhand stores and pawn shops and I thank to all music stores salesmen on 48th street and elsewhere and hope the will forgive me for wasting their time in explaining me all sort of specific information on all sorts of musical equipment that I never bought from them. In the spring of 2000 I got rid of everything but my acoustic guild guitar and moved to Austin, Texas. There I joined a rock band which was was going nowhere and so In the fall of 2000 I left for Spain where I am to this day. I have a litlle home recording studio in the garage where I put together my musical ideas and occasinally record some local artist.Over the years on the Costa Del Sol I played with a few cover bands as a guitarist, singer or a keyboard player .At the moment I try to put together a live dance&electronica band and we should be playing out some time very soon.
