After many years as a full-time freelance writer, editor, researcher, and game designer, I just accepted a management position at a company that used to be one of my best clients. I'm over the moon about this -- finally, I get to have a decent salary, working for a company I like, and mostly working from home (other than monthly meetings in London, which I don't object to).
I'm a sceptical pagan, a sensible freak, and a reasonably sober old punk.
I'm polyamorous. That is, I'm not naturally monogamous, have never been very good at trying to be monogamous, have never been very happy when monogamous, and frankly, at my age, have no interest in even attempting to be monogamous any more. For some people, monogamy might well be right and proper, but I don't really understand them, to be honest.
I have several extensive tattoos (see pics for the biggest one, which goes from my coccyx to my crown) and six piercings (five of which are below the neck). I like to shave some bits of my hair off and grow other bits long. I like shiny clothes, and big boots, and spiky things.
