After successfully launching numerous animated shorts, such as Sweet Mother Of Vartan and The Harut Series, animator/director Hayk Manukyan has established Hayasa Pictures Inc., a production company aimed at creating animated films that will appeal to all audiences. Along with his partner, executive producer Henri Hovhanessyan, and their creative staff, "Hayasa," the artistic name given to Hayk by his art teacher Samvel Sevada, is dedicated to producing projects that are both visually pleasing, entertaining, and rich in story.“When people hear the word 'Animation,' they immediatly think 'Cartoons.' Recently, Hayasa Pictures signed its first deal with Six Point Harness Animation Studios to make an animated series called Neenja, and is currently in production on the animated epic of an Armenian legend, David of Sassoon.
