Dashon Jason Vincent may be also known as Hollywood but please believe there isno acting in his laid back but yet gutter persona.Raised in Hollywood, Florida since the age of three, the sunshine state is all that heknows. Known as a very out spoken individual in his music Hollywood says what theaverage person wants to say but doesn’t. This is one of the many reasons why theunderground scene loves him. Hollywood gives the listeners exactly what they wantto hear which is in most cases is what they need to hear, the truth. As a child he was one of those kids that could not stay out of trouble. Smart kid,active in sports but just hung around the wrong crowd. Which lead to a couple runins with the law. At the age of twenty two he has already lost a cousin and numerousfriends to the federal penitentiary and four friends that have died from the barrelof a gun. Feeling like a soul survivor he says music was his only alternative from alife that was going to lead him either dead or in prison. Although with a new out look on life in most cases your past still haunts you.While finishing up the final touches on his latest cd “Still Grinding Vol.4” the studioHe was working out of got raided by the police. Baring a scar on his right cheek leftfrom that day he says “Looking at my reflection threw the window of that squad carI could see my whole life going down the drain, I had to make a change.” Luckily allcharges where dropped against Hollywood and he was able to get on his life and hismusic career. After that incident he went back to the studio, where he says he had to make onemore song “Get it on da block.” “I had to make that song, it was so heavy on mychest and I don’t really think people understand what we have to go threw out hereon these streets to get money, I mean we to the point that we bout whateva.”Like most big things that happen there not usually planned, neither was the successor reaction from that song. Now with the release of Still Grinding Vol.4 he has created an underground buzzthat has his local area on edge waiting to see what he is going to do next. Performingshows along side 50 cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Pit bull, Trick Daddy, Trinaand JT Money he has a live show that competes with the best and biggest names.“I’ve dropped four mix tapes and did like a million shows.” Says the Hollywood ashe puffs on a black and mild. “But I still aint got no deal yet so I keep putting outvolumes of still grinding to let them know that me and my goons still out here till weget that break.” Also in the rap group “Goon City” along side Zack "Major Damage" PaisleyAnd Jermaine “Maintain” Mitchell who has just finished serving a 3 yeartrafficking charge. They’ve been on both sides of the spectrum, from broke 2 paidthen from paid 2 broke, but now given a new deal on life please believe that you willhear from Hollywood and every last one of his “Goons” in the near future. “Themusic speaks for itself homie. I aint no rapper lil buddy, I am what these otherrappers claim to be.” Says Hollywood with a smirk on his face.
