The drunken Aliens are more than just inebriated extraterrestrials attempting to establish a foothold on our planet as a prelude to invasion; they also play some pretty ripping tunes. Never before in the history of man, have beings of such superior ability and skills worked so well together to achieve one common goal. Sure, that common goal is the subjugation of the entire human race and the end of life as we know it, but what is that compared to really cool tunes.The Aliens arrived on our planet in early 2007, landing in the dead of night in a sugarcane field on the slopes of Mt. Haleakala, in Central Maui, Hawaii. After a brief time to power down and conceal their craft, they set about reconnoitering the terrain to find a suitable base to begin their operations. Unfortunately, they unwittingly stumbled into a local bar by mistake, where they discovered a mysterious substance known to the locals as rum.These four invading aliens had never heard of alcohol before, so being the courageous vanguard of a far superior race, they felt it was their duty to learn everything they could about this strange, new substance. In fact, they became so dedicated to this task, that if metals were rewarded for alcohol consumption, they would have qualified for the Distinguished Metal of Valor. Although they did not earn a DMV, they did receive hundreds of paper umbrellas that they used to decorate their small unfurnished apartment.As the days passed into a blur of cocktails and Poo-Poo platters, the aliens became content to simply drink, eat, and listen to the strange music coming from a tiny string instrument called a ukulele. They became so enamored of this devise that they learned to play it themselves, using their inherent skills as superior beings to bring the art of ukulele playing to new heights never before imagined.Before long, the musically gifted drunken aliens abandoned the idea of conquering the world by force, and instead decided to earn it with their music. Obviously, this required them to move to North Carolina. Ladies and Gentlemen; I proudly present: the Drunken Aliens, the first band that truly is out of this world
