About Me

Scapeland is an all original band hailing from southwestern Connecticut. With a blend of styles ranging from ’70 era classic prog, metal, fusion-jazz, and pop, they have created their own hybrid form of progressive rock. Starting as a trio in 1997 under the name Scapeland Wish, the band recorded 2 CD’s "Reason" (2000) and "The Ghost of Autumn" (2003).After the second album some pressure was being put on the band to perform live.To recreate the Lush vocal harmonies and Flesh out all Kevins guitar work ,some friends were brought in.Long time Friend Carl Goding was recruited to take over drums Live and the band performed in notable locations such as the infamous Toad’s Place in New haven. With the new line up, including two original members Kevin Forsberg and Mike Stiskal, the group is currently working on their 3rd CD. Up in the player,"New Intro" and "New Instrumental" are with New drummer Carl..Promising to stay true to their original sound while exploring new sonic dimensions, this album is sure to satisfy current fans and attract a whole new Scapeland following.
