Tofer’s interest in songwriting dates back to when he was eight years old. His mother used to ask him to play the piano for her while she would make dinner. He would start off by reading the sheet music but would eventually drift off into his own melody. Tofer’s mother would ask him, “What was that song you were just playing? I really liked it.†It was then he realized his gift to create his own music . Ironically, Tofer was named after one of his mother’s favorite singer/songwriters, Kris Kristofferson (Tofer's full name is Kristofer Johnson.) His father is a guitarist so Tofer eventually gravitated towards the guitar as well. Tofer continues to share his music by performing at local venues throughout the Midwest. He also has written and recorded songs for various groups and bands through the years. He hopes you enjoy listening to these songs as much as he enjoyed writing them.The Bridge
