French composer, I signed music for about twenty short films, exhibition soundtracks and music to be performed on stage...
I discovered film music at the age of twelve, with Ennio Morricone's "Gabriel's Oboe", at Noirmoutiers, in front of one of the best sceneries I have ever seen: thousand of lights dancing in the night on the other side of the sea, on the mainland. Since this moment, it has never left me, even if I didn't know it was a passion.
I began music at six. Twelve years later, I ended my studies, being a graduate in solfeggio, chamber music and recorder, endowed with a three-year experience in musicology (weekly lessons in a music college). I began to write film scores in 2001, thanks to the director Cyrille Drevon (The Puppetist / Le Marionnettiste, The Sand Merchant / Le Marchand de Sable ). Our collaboration still lasts.
I was also chronicler at the radio for one year (a local cinema and film music broadcast: "Travelling", Radio Pulsar, 95.9 POITIERS). Furthermore, I was subeditor and in charge of columns on the french website Cinézik from 2005 to 2006. Since 2006, I've written about film music and classical music on the website Res Musica . I'm also consultant for the advisory committee created for the 100th birthday of film music in 2008, project sponsored by Nicolas Sarkozy, president of the French Republic, and by many big firms working in film music and cinema.
I also belong to a temporary recorder band, "The Consort Recorders" , conducted by Philippe Renard. I have been member of SACEM since 2007.
I take an interest in any kind of artistic projects, in any countries! I'm able to control each stage of music production: composition (of course :-) ), pre-production, recording/programming, post-production, legal matters.
