Sylvia Benson of Columbus, Ohio is an outstanding Praise and Worship Leader with an anointed style of her own. She won the 1997 Achievement Award for the best portrayal of Mahaliah Jackson, with vocal sounds to the likes of Aretha Franklin and Patti LaBelle. Along with that; Sylvia has sang back up for many Gospel greats such as Beverly Crawford, Twinkie Clark Terrell, Monique Walker (wife of Hezekiah Walker) and had featured solo spot for Shirley Caesar. Sylvia has a sweet spirit and an amazing range that is all Sylvia. Although she has the gift to play the keyboard, percussion and bass guitar, her first love is ministry. Sylvia was called to preach at the age of 12; however she left the church and began singing the blues in clubs around Ohio. After a near fatal experience steaming from a domestic violence situation, Sylvia made the decision to fully commit her life to the Lord. After being set free and delivered by the power of God, Sylvia established a Women’s Ministry called, “Charisma Womenâ€. Sylvia is also Co-Pastor of “Key to the Kingdom Ministries†where her husband Thomas A. Benson is Sr. Pastor. They are the proud parents of 5 children 4 boys and 1 girl. Sylvia brings a special blend of anointed vocals, praise and worship and the word of God that promises to bring the anointing that destroys the yoke of bondage.

Call the police for help if you are being battered if you can get to a phone safely. Don't be afraid to ask for immediate help.
