WHY "Coldshot " ?

People often ask me, "Why the name coldshot?" The name was given to us by our manager (at the time) Sid Burnum and his partner, Ted Bookum. After seeing the band for the first time, Sid was overheard saying. "It's gonna be a COLD day in hell before I waste my time on a band like this. These guy's ain't got a SHOT." Well needless to say we didn't stay long with the Book'em and Burn'em talent agency but the name did stay with us.

Who is "Coldshot" ?

In addition to being one of California's premiere classic rock quintets, the four bandmates still find time for many charitable and social events. Many find their philanthropy juxtapose to their "caution to the wind" rock and roll life style but that, friends, suits the boys just fine. As one band member put it, "What we do with our time and money ain't nobody's business because it's ours." As time passes the original band members have stayed together.

FOUNDING MEMBER OF COLDSHOT AND HAS BEEN IN THE BAND THE LONGEST. WHEN HE'S NOT MANAGING HIS RACING TEAM OR DONATING HIS TIME AT THE HOME FOR RETIRED RODEO CLOWNS, ERNIE (WHO IS ALSO RUMORED TO BE A DECENDENT OF GENERAL GEORGE CUSTER) HOLDS "THE GUINESS BOOK OF WORLDS RECORDS" ENTRY FOR THE LARGEST RAINBOW WIG AND RED RUBBER NOSE COLLECTION IN THE UNITED STATES.

FORMER OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING CHAMPION AND GOLDEN GLOVE REGIONAL AND NATIONAL BOXING TITLE HOLDER. ALWAYS QUICK WITH A GOOD JOKE, ALWAYS THERE WHEN YOU NEED HIM UNLESS HE'S ICE CLIMBING, SKIING DOWN EVEREST, FREE CLIMBING SKYSCRAPERS, BASE JUMPING, BIG GAME HUNTING OR DOING CALLIGRAPHY

JEREMY PARADIDDLE [SNAREMY]

BORN WITH DRUMSTICKS IN HIS HANDS. OUCH! SORRY MOM! THE SNARE MASTER GENERAL STARTED HIS LOVE FOR THE DRUMS AT A VERY EARLY AGE. AT THE AGE OF THREE, JEREMY WOULD CRAWL INSIDE THE KICK DRUM OF THE LOCAL CLUB BANDS (ONE NIGHT HE FELL ASLEEP INSIDE THE DRUM... UNNOTICED THE CHILD WAS PACKED WITH THE DRUMS AND FINISHED A THREE WEEK TOUR WITH "KENNY AND THE KRUISERS"

FRANK ZAPPER

GIVEN THE FACT HE CAN ONLY COUNT TO FOUR, FRANK IS A NATURAL BASS PLAYER. BORN IN "SANTEE" CALIFORNIA IN THE MID-SIXTIES, FRANK'S PARENTS BELONGED TO A WANDERING GROUP OF HIPPIES KNOWN AS "THE HANSON FAMILY". THE GROUP'S LEADER "CHARLIE" WAS HIMSELF A FAILED MUSICIAN WHO ACHIEVED ONLY MODES SUCCESS WITH HIS SONG "UM BOP-a-ooh Mao Mao"
