Left to Lose are five friends from Rathcoole and Newbridge. They have all played in bands for many years but ended up all playing in Left to Lose. The band was formed back in April of 2004 back than the band was made up of James Kearns(Bass), Conor Ebbs(Guitar) and Simon King(Drums). Sometime in July of the same year they decided it was time for a new member this is were Jason Cheung came in he joined the band as their second guitarist. They kept this line up the same until March of 2005 when it was decided another member was needed, James had taken up guitar in the band leaving the band without a bassist. They needed a bassist and they decided on a friend of the band called David Boyle.
But in a sudden change of direction, drunk on cider and orphan love, lead man Conor Ebbs decided he'd had enough of his rockstar lifestyle and pursued his dream of working in, and eventually quitting, a shoe shop. This caused major ripples in the music scene. Even Muse frontman Matt Belamy was heard saying "And I..".
Shocked and distraught at Ebbs' sudden departure, Boyle slipped into severe depression, and began wanting more than popular music with punk influence. On speaking with the monks that dwell in his closet, he decided to join a metal band (Finish the Fight; formerly Last Chance for a Quick Death; formerly Something Less Innocent; formerly From Within, no seriously. They had that many names for the same band). This proved to be a big step in his life, finally setting free the baby goat he had stolen in a former life. This, however, became a conflict of interest. Would he continue on with the band that carved him into the lean, mean bass playing machine he is today? Or would he abandon his teachers for the bright lights of a band that has a member who could play an instrument? Obviously he quit.
The dick.
After a year of searching the band is over
