About me:
- My mum and dad are still in love and it makes me feel lucky that I have great role models for me and my wife to look up to. Public speaking scares me - my friends think this is hilarious. They think that I'm normally loud, animated and usually "hold court" when I'm at parties. All I can say is that isn't the same as getting up in front of a crowd. My favourite pastime is riding my bike. I made the switch from jappers to harleys a few years ago and once you've made that move you can't go back. The big thing now is convincing all my friends to get one too. I love to travel. No, I really, really love to travel. I have a list of all the places I would love to travel too and it just keeps getting longer and longer. A lready ticked off the list is running with the bulls in Pamplona, climbing Ayres Rock, standing on top of the Eiffel Tower, bungee jumping everywhere I've ever been, skydiving (over the Grand Canyon), cannoning, helicoptering around the "Christ the Redeemer" statue in Rio, being in the Sambadrome for Carnivale and many, many more.
But the list is huge and funds were an issue. I didn’t feel financially secure. I seemed to go from paying one holiday off after another without really getting ahead.
It’s not like I didn’t try to leverage myself and earn more. I basically worked for myself for the last 15 years.
You name it, I tried it.
I sold property, I set up a mail house, I promoted events, hell, I even bought a nightclub and ran it for 5 years( great money, not so great lifestyle) Then I thought a coffee franchisees would be the answer.
I just kept finding the same frustrations. If I didn’t work, I didn’t get paid. My business was totally reliant on me doing the work and even though I worked hard, (harder than most jobs I’d had), my income was always capped.
Then I sat down and did the sums and worked out that if I invested $75,000 I could earn an extra $1000 per week. Not bad ROI, if you’ve got a lazy $75,000, but not exactly getting me closer to my goals.
I felt helpless, disheartened and doubtful I would ever break the cycle, get ahead and be debt free.
All that changed for the better .......... when a friend asked my opinion on a business she was starting. I remember this day so well. It was a Sunday, I was a little dusty and I really didn't feel like driving across the city, but I promised my friend I would meet up with her. Everything was working against me - I was tired, some stranger was talking about the internet and stuff I really didn't know much about but then I saw it.
Now I know this is a strong word and I don’t use it lightly, but I had an epiphany.
Like really, what rock was I living under?
One look at this business was all I needed to get excited out of my brain and I have hardly slept since.
Now I know this sounds crazy, but I knew in my bones this was the opportunity of a lifetime and every day something or someone confirms this for me over and over again.
And hey, I have been pinching myself and no, this is not a dream.
I am so grateful to live in a whole new world where I create unlimited residual income. I am overjoyed to be able to help people all over the world create freedom and choices in their lives.
I will be retired at the age of 40. I am amazed that this is my reality.
My first reaction was to run and tell everyone about this new business so they could also experience the success and financial freedom that I was.
Now there was no shortage of people who wanted to improve their lifestyle and financial situation but they just didn’t do what they had to, to get a good result.
