Hi everyone my name is Marie Serneholt and welcome to "my space"! It took me forever to create my own site here! Everyone has been telling me for the past year that i HAVE to get my own MySpace-it's essential! So now one year later i'm finally here:-) There have been many of my fans and friends who's been telling me that there are alot of people on MySpace who's been pretending to be me, so i just wanna start off by setting the record straight, I've never had a MySpace site until now, this is the Official Marie Serneholt site.
Ok, let me tell you a little bit of myself and what I do: I live in Stockholm Sweden and I work as a singer/model. I started my career when I was 9 years old and I played the main role in a musical called "Madicken". My big break came 1998 when I was 15 years old and I became part of a band called the A*Teens. We were fortunate enough to be around for over 6 years. During my years with the band I got to travel and perform almost all over the world, open for artist like NSync, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston and Aaron Carter, we even got to have our own tour in the US. We were four friends from a dance school here in Sweden who ended up selling over 5 million albums... I still see the period with the A*Teens as one of the best times in my life... After my time in the band I started my own singing career and last year I released my first solo record called "Enjoy the Ride". Here on my site you can listen to my first single-"That's the way my heart goes", written by Jörgen Elofsson. Releasing my own album was a huge dream for me that came true...
When I'm not singing I do a bit of modeling and dubbing, I'm part of the swedish modeling agency Mikas and I've had the opportunity to do campaigns for both Maybelline and H&M. Some of the dubbing or "voice overs" I've done so far is "Robots", "Herbie", "Narnia", "Barbie Diaries", "Wayside", "Growing Up Creepie" and "Buzz on Maggie". I feel very fortunate that I get to do everything I love...!
I really hope there's more to come...I'm excited to see what 2007 has in store for me..At the moment I am in the studio recording my second album...reeeeaaaally excited about that!! I will keep you guys posted:-) Lots of love/Marie
