After picking up a guitar just before his 16th birthday, the young and talented Kieran Jones soon became hooked and anxious to learn more about the instrument. About a month after playing guitar he played his first gig: the infamous Hell Nite at Wembly Rugby Club where a poor rendition of the White Stripe's Seven Nation Army left the crowd with blank faces, and him with a greater determination than ever to show the crowds that he does have the potential to become the next guitar God. Forming The Guilty with fellow musical enthuiast Michael Hill, Kieran began to write his own songs and become a more developed musician. Starting from the bottom and playing a few badly-recieved gigs, he worked his way up to finally become and accepted musician. Joining another band, Drug Money, allowed for a release of raw talent to the flaming embers of Joseph Farrell's vocals. After being blown away by Yngwie Malmsteen's music for the first time, Kieran soon began listening to more technical-based musicians. From there he has honed his tastes to neo-classical, metal and progressive rock music. Now, at the age of 18, he has formed Probe: an outlet for his musical creations that forms a hybrid of rock and pure inspiration.
Recently Probe has featured on a track (Crack Slag) with Kemica, a band with ever-growing support and musical ability, which can be heard at www.myspace.com/kemica
Playing every instrument you hear, Kieran Jones AKA Probe shall be around, gaining more support and developing his technical ability, for a very long time.
Recorded a short time ago is a brief video of Probe just messing about on guitar, I hope you enjoy it
