SEPTENTRION BIOGRAPHY
The origin of the band goes back to the year of the 2002, beginning whit a proyect EVENFALL, in which the members were:Alonso Ramirez:drums, Fernando Hernandez:guitar, and Erick Tenorio:bass, participating in several concerts on México city.For personal reasons, the band decides to separate, in the beginning of 2003 the members before mentioned meet again to give life a new project called SEPTENTRION, take up again the melodical death metal sound, in the middle of 2003, a band’s friend Miguel Angel Juarez enters like vocalist , for this reason the band is reinforced even more creating their own style.That’s why SEPTENTRION begins to play in the mainstream of Mexican Metal. At the beginning of the 2004 the band looks developed even more trying to find a sound more conceptual.Therefore the band finds to Salvador Gómez who contributes of a transcendental way whit the advance of the band. In this year SEPTENTRION had several presentations on diferent towns of Mexico like Aguascalientes, Salamanca, Puebla and the band opened one concert to EPICA in México City the last 2004.In 2005 SEPTENTRION records his first EP called The Bleeding Ruis,which has very good acceptance in concerts and other mass media.In the 2006 it was a difficult year since Erick (Bassist) leaves the band for personal reasons, it was, until January 2007 that SEPTENTRION finds Yazmin Castillo to replace him as bassist. Whith Yazmin join the band, she gives more solid presence at stage. The same day of the arrival of the bassist the band also arrives Adrian Rodiles who takes the second guitarrist roll, with this change, the band gets great power and sense of dynamics in the songs, as a result the band grew it..s concept.Actually the band is working in their second CD production. On this days SEPTENTRION has presentations in México City and others states of Country.
