About Me

Evie G. is a native of New Jersey who has shared the stage with hip hop extraordinaires such as LL Cool J, Lil Mama,Tweetie, and Trey Songz just to name a few. Her love for hip hop dancing began at the age of 4 when she took her first and last dance class at Maria Priadka School of Dance. With her family going through financial issues, she wasn't able to continue training at the studio, but that did not hinder her. Her hunger for more drove her towards success. She has performed on BET's 106th and Park twice, putting light to her little hometown of Rahway, NJ. She has also performed on MTV's show, "Dances from the Hood" with Lil Mama and appears as a dancer in her most recent music video, "G-Slide".
Just when you thought Evie's talent stops there, you are pleasantly surprised. She also sings, acts, models, and writes. Those talents of hers are exercised as well, but her 1st love will forever and always be hip hop dancing. Her raw hip-hop skill mixed with her undeniable drive have made her one of the most talked about rising hip hop dancers wherever she goes. She's gone through her ups and downs with the entertainment industry but ultimately learned how to stay true to herself.
She doesn't yield to what the hip hop culture is today. She is a true lover of the REAL hip hop culture when it was and raw and underground. "I miss the days when hip hop dancing was hard and rugged around the edges...when it wasn't so commercial and Hollywood." With her talent she has shown many that you can be a female dancer who "goes hard" and still remains sassy. No Pussycat Doll moves here. She's taking it back to the basics to when she fell in love with hip hop. Her biggest inspirations include The Electric Boogaloos, The Fly Girls (Yes, from In Living Color),Tweetie, Cicely & Olisa, & Shane Sparks. She credits her success to God and and hip hop history. "You can only be the best or at least strive to be the best by learning from the ones who were the best first.
I would like to thank the 80's for bringing such a head turning revolution. Hip Hop will forever live!" When asked about advice she gives to aspiring dancers/entertainers she gives them her 3 rules... 1. Check your attitude. It determines your latitude. 2. Live in the now. Be the best YOU you can be and don't ever advertise a lesser you. Stay true. 3. Learn about your craft backwards and forwards. That's the only way you can make power moves. Stay tuned to her journey to the top..
