440 have been a band off and on for 7 years apart from brothers Paul and David there has been numerous changes. for a year and a half we were a four piece and we were called Steele Cap but due to a passing away of one of the members (Shane Scott) we decided to go back to our original band name 440. From the begining like any band it was just about covers and playing pubs, parties etc. But over the last three years we have been about writing and recording orignal music. 11/10/03 We did a demo CD called 440. 1/2/07 We did Times Control EP. Currently we are a 4 piece with cousin Erin Hodson on Bass and Backup Vocals and newcummer Chris BC Rich/EMG81/Marshall Sheahon on rhythm and lead guitar.440's new 5 song EP entitled "Arising from the Ashes" will be released 6th June 2009.
