SalaahudDiyn

SalaahudDiyn is an music artist (singer/dancer/songwriter) who has been pursuing music since the age of ten years old. He has perfomed locally around New York in several school talent shows performing renditions of Michael Jackson performances. Intially interested in pursuing a solo career, SalaahudDiyn soon realized his older brother Saliyl had the ability to sing and persuaded him to join him in forming a music group.The group, called Mischeif, was formed in 1996 with original members; brothers SalaahudDiyn, Saliyl, Mutawwikil, and cousins Amin and Husyan. The group worked on their sound as they went through several group member changes with cousin Namel, and close friends Calvin and Arlie later joining and replacing members, Amin and Husyan. All members finally left within the group's first couple of years leaving best friends SalaahudDiyn and Calvin remaining. Together, they mastered their harmony which became their greatest musical asset. In the meanwhile, SalaahudDiyn continued to perform as a solo act locally around New York City. After several years of performing, rehearsing, recording together, member changes and name changes, the group came to a quiet end as Calvin (Sincere) persuaded SalaahudDiyn to once again pursue a solo career as his own musical style was emerging and becoming increasingly different from the sound of the group. SalaahudDiyn is now a full time solo artist who is presently in the studio working on his album and is also in the process of starting his own production company.
