My name is Laura Giraldo and I am from Medellin,Colombia.I'm FINALLY on my last year of high school and still deciding what to do next! LOL I am generally a typical eighteen year old girl but have been raised in a manner that has taught me to think and act differently than most girls my age. Nothing wrong with that right? On that note, I'll contradict myself and let you know that I am not a typical eighteen year old girl. I feel very thankful for the family that I've got and for the head on my shoulders. I can describe myself as caring,forgiving,loving,generous, but at times very sensitive. However, some have considered me a strong person with a lot of character. It took me a while to acutally find the "strength" in me, but that is part of growing up and discovering about myself. Since friends are scarce, I like to be good to my friends. I can't say I've ever been the type to cause problems among people. It's not in my interest, and I can only hope to meet more people with this quality. I am very trustworthy and have yet to find people with THAT quality. My interests include MUSIC, DANCING,the BEACH, GOING OUT, SPENDING TIME WITH THE PEOPLE I CARE ABOUTand those who care about me. I will always take my feelings to extremities. If I am happy,I am ecstatic, If I'm upset, I cannot hide it. My feelings always show, therefore I cannot fool anyone. As far as relationships go, I think I could be good to someone only if that person is good to me.I used to be giving, and usually care "too much". I refuse to waste my time if i am not being treated the way I should be. No, I'm not looking. I've never been the girl to say "all guys are the same". I know there are good ones out there no matter how bad my experiences have been. I've got two older brothers who I wish I could give the world to. They provide my sanity. In no way, shape, or form will I tolerate any disrespect towards my family and my friends. I'm a free-minded girl, have an open heart, don't try to impress the world, but come off as "stuck up". I've learned to laugh it off because I can't sit and explain myself to everyone and say "hey, this is the real me."If you like me, cool. If you don't, it's your problem, not mine. NEXT. I have always had a mental picture of my future ,and in that picture I am successful & independent.PERIOD. Nothing or nobody is an obstacle because I am going to achieve it all on my own.
