Hazlett is a five-piece band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania made up of acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, keyboard and drums. The music can be categorized as acoustic rock, indie, and pop. The band was started in late 2006 when frontman Pat Beymer was tired of playing songs with just himself and an acoustic guitar. That's when he decided to call up a few friends that he had never played with before. Soon enough Jameson Watral and Jeff Grossman were recruited for the band to play drums and keyboard, but this wasn't nearly enough. He then asked Alek Mitana to play electric guitar for the band as well. Later on Ethan Sauer was picked up to play bass guitar, but later parted ways due to difficulties within the group. In mid 2007 Zach Ballew was picked up to play bass and has been with the band since then. The line up stands as follows:
Pat Beymer: Acoustic Guitar/VocalsJeff Grossman:Keyboard/Vocals
Jameson Watral:Drums
Alek Mitana:Electric Guitar
Zach Ballew:Bass Guitar
